I am one of those who finds floating on a boat in the ocean a very upsetting notion and have had less than beneficial experiences with meditation. I've tried group meditation, cds, videos, idiot's guides-nothing has ever worked. I've already put a couple of these methods into practice and it did not even stress me out!
