    1. Mindy Obenhaus Is a well-known author, some of his books are a fascination for readers like in the A Father's Second Chance book, this is one of the most wanted Mindy Obenhaus author readers around the world.

    2. Title: A Father’s Second Chance (Love Inspired)Author: Mindy ObenhausPages: 224Year: 2015Publisher: Love InspiredMy rating is 5 stars.I loved this story! There is a young woman entrepreneur who takes over her grandmother’s restaurant, making some of the locals repeat customers for some special cooking. Celeste is the lady who loves to cook and is always looking for ways to grow her business. Celeste never feels close to her mother due to the fear of never living up to perceived expectations. [...]

    3. My Review:Celeste Thompson only wants to run a successful restaurant and hopefully an equally successful hotel. But her mom has other ideas. Why not sell? Why not come back to Texas? And the questions go on and on. Celeste loves living in the little town of Ouray, it’s quite slow, and homey. Something her mother truly doesn’t understand nor appreciate. Rue Celeste would like more from life, like a husband, a couple kids, and maybe a pet. But that was not what she needed right now, she’s a [...]

    4. I really enjoyed this novel. The main characters, Celeste Thompson and Gage Purcell, backgrounds were deep and layered, making them come to life on the page. Gage’s children, Emma and Cassidy, were adorable and a joy to read about. Their cute antics frequently pitted the main characters against each other, as Gage and Celeste both had long term plans that didn’t involve marriage or even a serious relationship. A page-turner and great plot, but the one downside to this book is that Celeste ma [...]

    5. We all have pasts. Sometimes it becomes difficult to share those pasts with someone we have fallen in love with for fear that they will reject us if they know the truth. Even if God has already forgiven us, it can be hard to open up because what if we do and they simply chose to walk away? That is the decision that Celeste Thompson will have to face if she is honest with how she feels after vowing to never fall in love. After her own father abandoned her when she was little, between how her moth [...]

    6. There's something about the surly construction type, isn't there? Especially when you know why he's less than enthusiastic when it comes to a powerhouse city girl like Celeste. Of course, she thinks he's just plain rude. Let the sparks fly! Reluctant attraction on both sides creates quite a sizzle as the pair are constantly thrown together. And Gage's two little girls add a whole new level of delight to an already captivating read. High drama and hilarious comedy make this a fast-paced read that [...]

    7. A Father's Second Chance by Mindy Obenhaus. Celeste Thompson owes a restaurant and has a hotel that need fixing up. Gage Purcell is a contractor who likes fixing up building to there originate condition. He has two girls ages 8 and 11. He is waiting for a management job to open at the mines in the small town. Both Celeste and Gage have past history and has a hard time giving their hearts to someone else. A very good read.

    8. In terms of love inspired books, this is by far the best book I've read. Celeste is really well written. She is kind, loving, generous, compassionate, and also driven and ambitious. She is so good to Gage's girls. You can really understand why Gage falls in love with her. A lot of the love inspired stories have leading women taking a back seat when it comes to being assertive and ambitious. Celest does not. Kudos to Mindy for writing Celeste so well.

    9. A Father's second chance is worthy of a read. It is a story young woman entrepreneur who takes over her grandmother’s restaurant and how GOD uses a man and his two daughter and the town to have them deal with past hurts and moving towards a future. It is a reminder that we can plan but you go nowhere if you do not deal with the hurts of the past. It is part of a series but does well on its own

    10. Heartwarming story set in the beautiful small and real town of Ouray Colorado. It's about adjusting to life when plans don't work the way you, well plan. Both the hero and heroine have to deal with a past that they don't want to shape your future. Can you forgive and love someone that has done something in the past you find unforgivable?

    11. There was a lot more God in this book than I was anticipating - which isn't a bad thing, just not something that I was expecting when I started it. It was a decent read, but not one that I would read again.

    12. "In this quick, brisk read, Celeste illustrates the difficulties associated with trying to follow the plans of others versus what we believe God wants for us" (RT Book Reviews, 4 stars).
