    1. J. Alan Field Is a well-known author, some of his books are a fascination for readers like in the The Rampant Storm book, this is one of the most wanted J. Alan Field author readers around the world.

    2. Solid SF. I particularly liked the spys and how their background interwove with the bigger picture - coming together for the climax and a surprise ending. Very enjoyable.

    3. Again I am happily surprise and wonderfully satisfied by the Starhold Series. Everything is flowing so masterfully that you will find yourself devouring the books in a flash. The story is very good, the characters are interesting and all of it is paced perfectly, but the real star here is the writing of J. Alan Field. I canot recall the last time I read a book so effordlessly. Everything is so smooth and well writen that my reading speed (and endurance) was increase drastically. The Starhold Ser [...]

    4. Starhold Series Book 2I felt the beginning started a little slowat was the reason for the four stars and not five. But, if you hang in there it ramps up pretty good and starts rolling with action and intrigue. If you liked the first book, you'll love this one. Can't wait to see what happens next!

    5. Great bookI have enjoyed this series so far. I consider a book well written when the story flows so well. I also found the writer and I have the same taste in books. Can't wait for # 3.

    6. Great continuation of a potentially excellent sci-fi series. Once I was attracted to the story half-way in the first book, I flew through the pages.
