    1. 2. This final volume does a good job answering the real final question- what will happen to Mitsuki? Thankfully, all the various couples are wrapped up fairly well too.The last 4-5 pages of the last chapter are the most haunting and sweetly melancholy moments of the whole series. They sum up and move forward on the entire theme of the series. It is amazing and tearjerking. There are many extra "misc" sort of pages toward the end. Some of them are little stories that are funny and worth reading but t [...]

    3. This review is for the whole story. Tanemura- sensei will always be my favorite manga-ka and Full Moon will always be my favorite work. I watched the anime first, which I loved, so I decided to give the manga a go. I am so glad I did. I even wondered why didn't the anime followed the plot of the manga. What I love about full moon is that the story starts really cute, but then BAM!!! Dark twist!! I just love that and Full Moon was a roller coaster of emotions for me. The art is beautiful! As expe [...]

    4. Great end. Really cute. But the last chapter was kinda confusing. And who Jonathan really was. I kinda missed out on that too.But I loved to see Mitsuki and Takuto and all the other sweet couples happy. But Eichi This last scene made me so sad. I want him to be happy too. To not be alone anymoreAll in all it was really enjoyable but not as good as Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne

    5. The ending hit just the right, slightly bittersweet note. Lovely art throughout, of course. Slightly irritating that almost half of the last volume is extras. Overall, the series itself is one of the better ones I've read.

    6. As seen on my blog amartiansReview for the entire series5 out of 5 starsFull moon wo Sagashite is a 7 volume manga series about the 12-year old Mizuki Kouyama who dreams of becoming a singer. The things standing in her way from this dream is her diagnosis of Sarcoma, a cancer that can only be cured by removing her vocal cords, and her grandma which hates music, not letting Mizuki audition. Mizuki’s dream seems unachievable until she’s visited by a pair of Shinigami, telling her she has only [...]

    7. Thoughts on the series as a whole:This is one of Tanemura's early works and it shows. There's a definite lack of direction for the most part, paired with a series of twists that just don't seem go anywhere, and a general vagueness on where this series falls in terms of genre. Is it a idol story with magical elements ? or a fantasy story about shinigami that just happens to involve an idol storyline? Because, honestly, both seem to be the theme Tanemura is going for but at different points in the [...]

    8. An eloquent ending to a wonderful series.(view spoiler)[ Takuto and Meroko's daring venture into the Shinigami HQ was heartbreaking, but it spoke volumes regarding their love for Mitsuki. And Izumiiiiiiii, you beautiful, beautiful antihero, let me hug you. *cuddles Izumi* *slaps him* You're terrible and definitely need to be nicer to Meroko but I love you. In all seriousness, I related a lot to Izumi's arc. Tanemura-sensei really captured the effects of child abuse and neglect, as well as how su [...]

    9. An attempt is made on Mitsuki's soul, Meroko and Takuto try to save her, and everything is ultimately wrapped up in the final volume of Full Moon. So many mixed feelings I have.On one hand, I liked the bittersweet way things ended with Eichi. (view spoiler)[He didn't really get his happy ending, much unlike the other characters, but instead, his spirit had to let go of Mitsuki, who chose to live and, ultimately, chose Takuto. Still not sure I approve of the age gap between him and Mitsuki, but t [...]

    10. Sigh I mean, really Teresa? Did you honestly think it would have ended even slightly unhappily?I enjoy shojo manga really I do. Otherwise I wouldn't read it. However, I'd like to think that even a shojo manga that has a storyline that really doesn't even start to lead to a happy ending can have a slightly unhappy ending. As this series got closer and closer to volume 7, I really thought Tanemura-san wouldn't let me down this time. I knew she was going to have a happy ending, but I figured there [...]

    11. I AM REALLY DEPRESSED ABOUT THIS ENDING. BEAUTIFULLY HEARTBREAKING. Buuuut, in a way or another, almost everyone got their happy ending. Almost. Though it still hurts. (view spoiler)[I FEEL SO BAD ABOUT EICHI-KUN AHHHHHHH I WANNA CRY. But I'm glad Meroko and Izumi got their happiness, that Takuto and Mitsuki got to live and be together (Some part of me still hoped for Meroko and Takuto, but Izumi and Mitsuki also deserved the love, so). I JUST WANTED EICHI-KUN TO GET HIS HAPPINESS TOO, UGHHHHH N [...]

    12. Ugh. Curse you, deus ex machina. Once again you reared your ugly head, and with it, any hopes for a decent ending for this series. In addition to the ending straight out of left field, the fact that the last volume had about little more than half the normal volume content, with the rest filled with filler makes this for a very disappointing volume. I don't know if the author lost control of the pace of the story, or if 'Full Moon o Sagashite' was given a last minute cut that precluded a more sat [...]

    13. Doing a review on the full series here, because nostalgia + insomnia = a re-read of all 7 volumes. The art is as charming as I remember, and it's interesting how the series matures/becomes more self-aware.At times, the main character acts/looks her age, or shows surprisingly maturity that matches the idea that she's grown up too fast. It's kinda irritating how many side-couples the author throws in; probably the most glaring at the two boss death gods, who we get all of one page hinting at a relat [...]

    14. Here we goe last volume! *is sad*4.5 stars. This volume was misleadng. It had like 100 pages of extras instead of more story! Haha.Series review:SO glad I gave this a chance. After Vol 1 I was skeptical. I didn't really connect with the characters and I was kind of confused. Once I got to volume 3 I was hooked. (view spoiler)[ Eichi is DEAD. WTF?(hide spoiler)] I was just so attached to each and every character. My emotions were pulled at over and over; I cried mulitiple times reading this serie [...]

    15. Cute, short, and sweet.I am a shoujo fan, because that sub-genre always seems to be able to make me laugh and cry. But nothing in this manga made me tear up (though there were sad moments) and nothing made me laugh out loud. Still, it is such a beautifully drawn story that it's hard to take your eyes from it. That, and I love Mitsuki as a character. The artist never tries to portray her as older than the little child she is, even when she "is" 16. She is innocent and sweet, and I think that's wh [...]

    16. I'm giving the series as a whole, 5/5 It was really well written, and I love how all the separate story lines where interconnected. Izumi and Takuto are definitely my favourite characters!I had watched the anime a few years back, and I didn't really rate it that high because the ending seemed so rushed and didn't really make a lot of sense. The manga on the other hand answered all my questions, and tied things up perfectly. As far as the art, I love Tanemura's style, I just find sometimes I have [...]

    17. After finishing the series, I think I may have initially been a bit harsh. I did have a hard time with the story at times, but I think the challenge is keeping the characters straight. The drawings (character profiles) are very similar, so I wouldn't recommend reading this unless you are really into it (and can invest some time keeping names and faces sorted). It is a good story about a young girl dealing with physical illness and death. It reminded me of Fruits Basket, and a slight hint of Merma [...]

    18. Wow, I really, really enjoyed this volume and this series! <3 its an amazing, beautiful series, love the characters and storyline and so happy that Mitsuki still got a happy ending in the end : ) she and takuto are so cute together and Meroko and Izumi too : ) glad she still was able to continue her singing career too : ) loved this manga series, Arina Tanemura writes some really amazing works <3 definitely recommend this series if you love romance, mystery, or shoujo type series or if you [...]

    19. Full Moon is not what I'd call a unique manga, but it is certainly beautiful. I have to admit that it felt reasonably drama-ridden, which I find very awkward to read. A manga written like a soap opera is just too much. Mitsuki is a little whiny, and sometimes I just want to beat her over the head, but still I loved this so much, the love story was so wonderful and I rooted for Mitsuki every step of the way. Definately worth a read if you're into 'girl' mangas.

    21. This series was amazing!!At first, I didn't like the fact that she turns into a teen, but I'm on good terms with it for nowEverytime I read this series, I cry. I'm a sensible type, so I cry easily O////OFor me, it's a sign saying: "That's a great part in the story!" So I would repeatively read it over again./>. GO TANEMURA ARINA!!!!

    22. I think is book was the perfect ending to a wonderful series. I liked how the author ended on a happy not and tied everything together. I also like just how deep the final chapter went into the back story of the side characters and how everything was resolved in the final chapter.I think Arina worked really hard on this final book. I'm so happy i read this book.

    23. I love love love love love this manga. It is so enlightening and makes me want to enjoy life and just live it. Not to mention this series has made me cry a bunch of tears. Really heartfelt. I found myself loving Izumi and Meroko. I ADORE Eichi and Mitsuki. Really amazing manga series. :)

    24. I love Arina Tanemura's artwork. LOVE LOVE LOVE it. This is really the only series of hers that I enjoy however. I really like how she ends the series with a message of hope and rebirth. This story is sweet and I've read the series over and over.

    25. The final book for Full Moon wo Sagashite. Great ending to be read of. Final conclusion for all of that happen. I remember even crying after read this last volume. Must be the greatest manga for Arina, or maybe the 2nd after Shinshi Doumei Cross

    26. I really liked this book. The drawings are really detailed and beautiful, but the storyline could use a little work. I liked the ending though, it was really cute and happy. I felt bad for Eichi though, he looked so sad! T-T
